Welcome Sara Zacharias to the MTA family
Sara Zacharias made her debut in 2013 when she interpreted previously unreleased material by her father, Ted Gärdestadon her EP "Mot solen" and her version of "Himlen är oskyldigt blå" became a long time favorite on the Swedish charts and stayed there for 39 weeks. Even though Sara did not plan to pursue a career as an artist, it happened anyway. “Music has always been a huge part of my life. Starting from six years of age I bought cassettes with The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, Tracy Chapman and more and they shaped my taste in music: songs that are melodic, a bit melancholic and moving. As a person, I have only become happier for every year, but I recognize myself in melancholic songs and they affect me more, ” Sara says.
On September 10, Sara's 3rd EP "Time" will be released along with the single bearing the same title. The single "Tid" is performed together with Jens Hult who also co-wrote the song with Sara and David Lindgren Zacharias. The music continues in the warm and organic world of sound that has become the hallmark of Sara's music.
Sara Zacharias is booked by Hilda Sandgren.
