The new global network of female music producers will provide an opportunity for up to 25 female studio producers and beatmakers from around the world to meet, discuss ideas, network and help overcome obstacles in the industry together. The initiative will also serve as a resource for musicians or record companies who want to work with female producers and producers who identify as women.
From a Swedish point of view, the production company ,MTA Production AB is part of the network and has been given the opportunity to highlight seven female artists and producers from different parts of Sweden and from different genres.
- I am so happy and honored to work with this important, long-awaited and much-needed initiative. Here we have managed to start gathering the world's professional female music producers in one place in an organization that can now grow strong throughout the world. It is about finding inspiration, community and strength to be able to develop. This new global network aims to give these fantastic professionals the support they need to develop themselves, their network and careers, says Hilda Sandgren, creative leader at MTA.
The Global Network for Female-Identifying Music Producers is a collaboration between Canada, Australia, Estonia, Argentina and Sweden.
